About ProdAITools

Have you ever opened yet another “AI tool” and thought: “Great… but what am I actually supposed to do with this in my real day?

If yes, you’re exactly the kind of person I had in mind when I started ProdAITools.

My name is Mano. Before I launched this project, I wasn’t trying to “ride the AI wave” or start the next big thing. I was just someone who felt overwhelmed by work, curious about AI, and a bit tired of seeing the same buzzwords everywhere.

The first time I really took AI seriously, it wasn’t because of a headline. It was because, for the first time, a tool actually helped me finish something faster without destroying my brain in the process. That feeling – “oh, this actually makes my life easier” – stayed with me.

From there, I went all in.

I tested tool after tool. Some were incredible. Some were just glossy websites with not much behind them. I broke things, got stuck, restarted, compared, took notes.

Bit by bit, I started to see patterns:

  • what really saves time,
  • what only pretends to,
  • and how AI fits into a normal workday when you’re not a Silicon Valley engineer.

At some point, it became obvious: I couldn’t keep all of this in my own notes forever. That’s when ProdAITools was born.

What ProdAITools is really about

ProdAITools is not “just another AI tools directory”. It’s my way of answering a simple question:

How can AI help real people work with less stress, fewer repetitive tasks, and more focus on what actually matters?

On the site, you’ll find things like:

  • honest reviews of AI tools I actually try,
  • comparisons that explain who each tool is for (and who it’s not for),
  • practical guides that show you how to plug AI into your day without turning everything upside down.

I don’t write for “AI experts”. I write for people who have clients, deadlines, families, side projects – and not enough hours.

I’m not doing this alone

Even if ProdAITools started with me, it’s not a one-person universe anymore. Behind the scenes, I work with a small group of people who all bring something different :

  • one is obsessed with workflows and automation,
  • another has a sharp eye for UX and interface,
  • another challenges every “this tool is amazing” claim until we can prove it.

The sun shining over a ridge leading down into the shore. In the distance, a car drives down a road.

We argue (kindly), test, disagree, test again. The goal is always the same: keep things honest and useful.

When you read “we” on the site, it’s not a fake brand voice. It’s a real mix of perspectives trying to make sense of AI for normal humans.

What you can expect here

If you spend time on ProdAITools, you’ll mostly see three types of content:

1. Tool pages that don’t lie to you

Not just features. Not just pros and cons copied from the homepage. But: “This is where it shines, this is where it’s annoying, this is who should bother using it.”

2. Guides for real life, not theory

Things like:

  • using AI to plan your week when your brain is already full,
  • setting up simple automations so you stop doing the same boring thing 50 times a month,
  • mixing two or three tools to get a clean workflow instead of 12 tabs open.

3. Reflections on productivity without the hustle culture

I don’t believe productivity means working 14 hours a day. I believe it means having more space for what matters: your work, yes, but also your health, your family, your ideas.

How I see AI (and why ProdAITools exists)

AI is not magic. It won’t fix a broken schedule or a business model that doesn’t work.

But used with intention, it can:

  • remove a big chunk of mental noise,
  • help you start when you’re stuck,
  • quietly take care of tasks you don’t want to think about anymore.

ProdAITools exists to help you get that version of AI. Not the shiny one in promo videos. The quiet, practical, useful one that runs in the background and gives you some breathing room.

If this sounds like you…

You’re juggling way too many tasks.

You’re curious about AI, but allergic to hype.

You want tools that respect your time, not steal it.

You like the idea of working smarter, but you also live in the real world.

Then you’re in the right place.

You can start by exploring the AI tools library, or by opening one of the guides that feels closest to your current situation.

And if you end up coming back regularly to tweak your workflow, then ProdAITools is already doing what it was meant to do.
